Choosing the Right Paddle

Your paddle should match your technique, distance, and craft (OC1/W1/W6). Here’s a clear breakdown of our current line-up, plus how to dial in the right length with our calculator.

Hiku — Lightweight control with extra hold

Blade design: Rounded entry with the widest point higher up the face to soften the catch without sacrificing hold. Carbon-reinforced edges for durability.
Shaft: Full composite shaft with regular flex (Hiku-only).
Powerface: Increased blade offset to 10.5 cm, moving the blade further into a pulling position for more stability and hold. The Hiku features our longest, most-defined V in the dihedral for stability through the pull.
Ideal for: Paddlers seeking a lightweight, high-performance blade for OC1 and W6.

Broadbill — Proven, versatile mid-size

Blade: Versatile mid-sized profile for short and long distance; carbon-reinforced tapered edges for maximum durability.
Powerface: Simple flat powerface for a forgiving entry/exit. The blade sits forward on the mid-point of the shaft to increase stability during the pull.
Ideal for: Paddlers, clubs, and schools wanting high performance with excellent longevity.

Kingfish — Largest surface area for bigger load

Blade design: Largest surface area in our range. Outline inspired by our Haku (2015) and brought back for the 2025 World Sprint Champs. Built for paddlers who want more load on the blade. Carbon-reinforced edges for durability.
Powerface: New, improved layout: bottom third flat for easy entry/exit; top two-thirds slightly curved plus more V-shaped dihedral to lock in stability and hold through the pull.
Ideal for: Short-distance, stronger paddlers across OC1/W1/W6.
